Of course you have the ability too mount a "high flow air filter" or such stuff (just look on ebay), but it won't increase your engine power.
It will produce more noise and maybe it you'll loose some power, because your engine will have to breathe the warm air from your engine bay.

If you want a cold air intake, you will have to build it yourself. To my knowledge, there is no cold air intake espeacely produced for the Carisma.

So what you are exactly searching for? "Better" has a elastic definition.
More power? Leave your stock air intake in your car, all other options won't increase your engine power.
More sound? Take a universal air filter and mount it instead of your air box.
