I cleaned the brake discs, don't worry, it was in the timelapse part, I also cleaned the brake pistons and brake caliper sliding pins and lubricated them using silicone grease.
The brake fluid was low when I began, once I finished up and when I pushed back the brake pistons it went back up. After I pressed the brake pedal it went down a tiny bit and I just topped it off, but I didn't show that. I replaced the brake fluid later on, when I replaced the rear brakes, but there's no video of that. I had a lot more trouble there, this should say it all:

And yes, I used brake cleaner to clean off all the pulleys before installing new belts, to remove any grease and dirt and I also had a small oil leak that made everything very dirty. I didn't use any other sprays.
I have to say that my
Carisma isn't in very good condition and is a daily, driven in salt and everything and is as such, quite rusty. It's not the prettiest and the best around so I might appear to be a bit rough with the work on the car, but I still try to do everything properly. I am not a mechanic though, I am just doing this as a hobby.

I'll leave you with this picture for tonight, I took this shot a while ago, playing with my camera and a single light, my very first "light painting" photo!

Till next time,
