Carisma compatible engines

Hello guyz. Nice work. I am from Greece and i don't know the german language... so sorry if u have allready speak about my question. I would like to ask u which engines (with lots of hoursepower like lancer evo , 3000gt , eclipse, carisma gt etc ) are compatible with my carisma (see my avatar). Its classic 1.3l ... thanks

The Mitsubishi GDI-Engine is even used for the Volvo S/V40. Also it could be possible to mount one of the other S40-Motors in the Carisma. For example the 2 Liter-Turbo with 200 HP. But I dont know if anybody tried this before.

The Engines of the Evo/Carisma GT and the 300GT can't be used for the Carisma because of the AWD.

I didn´t even know that there is a 1,3 l for the Carisma.

Maybe there are other models for Greece.....

In Russland und glaube anderen östlichen Ländern ist der da auch bekannt.
Einen 1,5 (1497) Liter gibt es auch noch.
Der 1,3 l ist mit einem 4G13 und der 1,5 l mit einem 4G15 Motor verbaut.

As Fallout said, the only engine, that could fit is the 2.0l turbo Vovlo...

also ich weiss ja schon so einiges was den carisma betrift ,jedenfalls was für modelle es gibt ,aber das wusste ich auch noch nicht

Dangor: welcome on board... as the guys mentioned before, the volvo engine is the only one which fits into our carismas...

But also there is no really serious fact that someone had mount this engine into our carisma....
